Jan,

I walked into Wells Fargo in Alameda yesterday and was told they could not find any account in the name you have posted. Que pasa? I really want to make a contribution toward this trip but feel unsure how to proceed. I'll go over to an SF bank if need be. Can you advise?

I'm excited over your trip but very concerned about your well being and safety. Look out for yourself, Jan, as well as the people you are there to help!

Best wishes for your successful trip and safe return!

great article Jan
but how embarassing, when you showed me the creole
phrase dictionary, I thought it was just another eruditic fancy! I didn't have any idea you were off to Haiti.

Doc Gurley you will be encouraged to know that ATT has waived international roaming for HAITI until the 28th of February. This means that all health providers can use the iPhones (calls and data) without incurring the exorbitant costs that would normally occur. Thought that you would like to know and pass on to your team. Thanks for the useful electronic resources that I found on your site. I am busy sending out an email to our teams on the ground and those heading out later.
