		<description>Thanks for exposing the BOGUS research about placebos. When I first read it in the newspaper, I smelled a rat.As a pharmacist, I haven&#039;t seen placebos prescribed since the early 80&quot;s. There used to be such a thing as Cebo Caps which came in 3 colors. I&#039;d always thought that was very deceitful on the part of physicians to prescribe sugar capsules for migraines, stomachaches,etc, and I felt like I was doing something unethical in dispensing them. 
I don&#039;t feel that  the researchers can characterize an antianxiety med as a placebo when, in fact, it decreases the anxiety inherent in chronic pain.  It is serving a purpose in alleviating the patient&#039;s problem which is what the physician is striving to do. Mary</description>
