Doc G, I’ve just cackled my way through this masterpiece of public health education… only thing is that with the various music levels, echoey halls etc., people who are hearing impaired or who struggle to understand spoken language are gonna miss some of the best – and most important! – bits. Any chance of sharing your script, a transcript or subtitling the film?

One last thing… I was able to get a 5 year protective order. He will never be able to hurt me again. I should have pressed charges. I am glad I found this site and thank you for advice.

Dear sweetie,
I so hope you get the care you need and deserve. If your own doctor doesn’t seem like a good person to talk to (or you don’t have a personal doctor) please call a local women’s clinic or Planned Parenthood. Most women who are raped don’t report it for days, and often struggle with long-term repercussions beyond the physical. Help is out there – please at least call a Rape Hotline anonymously, if nothing else. You’re not alone.

This was helpful to me, also. After a night of drinking, I was raped at my home. I was on my period and had a tampon in. It was bad enough to be raped, but to also have a tampon shoved up inside of me just made things worse. It has been four days and I have no odor and have felt for that tampon and still haven’t found it. I know I should probably go to the doctor and just get myself checked. This video was amusing and informative and really helped to make me feel a little more calm about having to go get checked. Thank You
